It's kinda been a while since I posted a new journal. I'm thinking about doing something semi-creative with that last entry and posting it as a deviation. But, who knows. We'll see what happens.
Went camping with the family last weekend. What a weekend it was. Gah. We camped in one pretty nice site, then down the road a ways my aunt, uncle, and cousin camped. It was kinda fun to spend the weekend with them. We went out on Friday, stopped for dinner on the way and set up camp. By the time we got done (my fam, that is), and walked up to the other site, they were just finishing setting up thier site. By the time everyone was done, it was dark so we went back to our site and started a fire. Saturday we went for a long hike after breakfast. The map said it was 3.5 miles, but my uncle and I think it was more like 4 or 4.5 miles. That was HOT too, cause the last half of it we were in the sun, and it was getting pretty damn hot out. But after that we had ice cream, then after lunch we went to the lake to swim for a while. That night we had a fire at my aunt and uncle's site, and played some games until it was pretty late. Then we packed up Sunday after breakfast, stopped to have lunch together on the way home, and unpacked. The cats were so happy to see us too. It was a fun weekend, overall.
Speaking of cats, we got a new one. Her name is Peanut. She's about 4 months old right now, a cross between a calico and tabby. She is so adorable. We got her the Sunday before the 4th, so we've had her about a week now. She still has claws, but she is the sweetest thing ever. Unfortunately, she's a little monster too. lol. She was neutered about a week before we got her, and all her running after the other cats and playing has gotten the stitches infected, so she has to stay in her cage for another day or two, and has to take antibiotics for the next four days. I think she's getting mad that we're keeping her locked up for that, cause twice yesterday she missed her litterbox. I think on purpose. Then she walked on my parents' bed with dirty paws. She should be able to get out and run around a little in a day or two, so she'll be happy to be able to attack my toes again while I'm trying to sleep.
Other than that, not too much going on. After 9 days of being good, I treated myself last night to some fun.
